Lisa & Joe purchased a home in the spring of 2011, during the first two years they replaced the roof, siding, all of the windows, and added central air. Turns out their master shower had been leaking for quite some time and finally busted through the foyer ceiling. So in 2015, they had to resolve the leaking shower.
The original shower was very small, measuring 36”wx28”d, they had a single vanity and plenty of unused space. They opted remove a 36” wide hallway between the master bath and master closet allowing both spaces to be enlarged. Large enough to accommodate the newly designed shower which is 40”deep x 60”, has a custom shower pan, bench seat and beautiful new faucets.
They now have a double vanity, new comfort-height toilet with a soft-close seat. The outdated mauve/brown mini tiles were replaced with warm gray 12x24 on the floors and shower surround. They added a decorative accent tile around the shower for a little pizazz. Then other horizontal surfaces (bench top, threshold, and shower shelves) were custom fabricated to carry the design around the room.
