Jennifer Kell, AKBD
Jen graduated from the Art Institute of Philadelphia in 2012 where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Interior Design. While there, she also studied architecture, furniture design, color, trans-generational design. Before starting a career as an interior designer, Jen attained a bachelor’s degree from Alvernia University in Information Sciences and Business Management.
Jen is a native of Pennsylvania, born in Philadelphia, the oldest of three siblings. She has been married to her husband, Jay, since 1995 and they have four wonderful children together Nate, Alyssa, Lance & Kristen. When she is not creating dynamic spaces, you can find Jen gardening, enjoying time with friends and family, taking in art displays formal and informal. Inspiration for all her projects is drawn from the colors provided by nature, the forms found in art (and the volume of gathered people.)
Besides being a member and participating in Mid-Atlantic chapter meetings, Jen has become an accredited kitchen & bath designer which means she has met several criteria in the industry including: academic criteria, practical criteria, and successful passed the NKBA AKBD examination. She also meet CEU requirements on an ongoing basis
